MAKE YOUR VOICES HEARD!

Attend the Press Conference and Rally at the BOEM public meeting in Gulfport on May 19th and show your opposition to this administration's dirt plan to lease 47 million additional acres of the Gulf to NEW Offshore drilling!

The press conference and rally will take place at 4:00 pm across the street from the hotel on the beach.  Together we will enter the public hearing at 4:30.  You will have an opportunity to give public testimony.  Each person will have 3 minutes to speak.

We still have a chance to remove all new leases in the Gulf from the plan before it is finalized by sending President Obama a strong message: Gulf residents adamantly oppose any and all new offshore drilling leases and instead firmly call for a just transition for all of our communities. That’s why we’re holding rallies at public hearings across the Gulf over the next two weeks where we’ll call to keep offshore oil where it belongs: In the ground.

Of course we need feet on the ground for these important meetings, but if you absolutely cannot attend please consider submitting your comment via internet, here: https://www.regulations.gov/#!documentDetail;D=BOEM-2016-0003-0001
