ECD is one of the nations leading Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI). ECD provides financial products and services throughout the states of Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas, as well as Greater Memphis.
ECD also sponsors Hope Community Credit Union, which provides a range of financial products and services that meet the needs of low and moderate income residents in its three state service area.
ECD also manages the Mississippi Economic Policy Center (MEPC). The MEPC engages in rigorous, accessible and timely analysis to inform the policy debate on issues that affect the economic and social well-being of working families and low-ealth Mississippians.
