Housing 2010- Moss Point was created by the City of Moss Point in December 1998. It has served as a Community Housing Development Organization with focus on capacity building. The Organization was incorporated in 1998. It is a 501(c)3 not for profit controlled by a board of trustees with a president, secretary, and a CFO / Treasurer who operates the day to day activities. All members of the board represent the areas of which they live or work. Board membership consists of professionals, community leaders, and low & moderate income level residents. The Organization has developed a subdivision in the second addition of Jackson Park with twenty newly designed homes for first time home buyers.
