Profile
The NAACP Youth Branch in Biloxi works with children of all ages, developing programs to help them deal with their world after Katrina. There are currently over 40 children enrolled in the NAACP Youth Branch, Biloxi.
Programs include quarterly birthday celebrations, fund-raising fashion shows, basketball tournaments, fish frys, car washes, and the production of concerts and plays. The children raise their own funds so they may participate in statewide NAACP conferences. Every experience is used as a teaching tool to help children understand the importance of discipline, community, participation, and team work.
