The mission of Visions of Hope is to provide safe, permanently affordable housing and security from displacement for low-moderate income families and to build strong and stable communities through the empowerment of its residents by offering access to education, healthcare, training, and other resources.

Profile

Visions of Hope was organized in February 1998 as a 501(c)(3) community housing development organization that has provided housing education and counseling services on the Gulf Coast for almost eight years. The organization offers a comprehensive approach to neighborhood renewal, centering on the provision of safe, decent and affordable housing, but also encompassing economic development, accessible healthcare services, partnerships with social service agencies, the development of educational opportunities, leadership and a number of other services.
