Parents, educators, pastors, youth leaders, health care providers and others who work with children, teens and young adults are invited to a free community awareness conference entitled, “Shatter the Silence.” The conference will be held Saturday, March 13, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 12190 Highway 605 in Gulfport.

Sponsored by the Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH) and First Baptist Church Gulfport, the goal of the conference is to shatter the silence which often surrounds mental health issues.
