"On behalf of the Equity and Inclusion Campaign, we write you out of concern that vital monies for the Gulf Coast recovery were left out of the recently passed War Supplemental Bill (HR 2642). As a result, we urge you to ask members of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development (THUD) to include critical funding for Mississippi and Alabama in the forthcoming Domestic Supplemental so that these states can adequately address the unmet needs of thousands of people...."
